East Harford police on Wednesday arrested a man on a murder charge in connection with the shooting death of a local man last month.
Angel Martinez, 35, of Hartford, was arrested by warrant in the death of William Gonzalez, police spokesman Lt. Josh Litwin said. Martinez’s sister, Ashley Quintana, 32, of Manchester, was arrested on a hindering prosecution charge.
On the morning of April 24, officers responding to a report of shots fired in a parking lot near Elm and Olmsted streets (rear of 37-47 Burnside Ave) found Gonzalez, 35, suffering from two gunshot wounds. He died later at an area hospital.
