Dr. Henry Lee to retire from the University of New Haven

Dr. Henry Lee, the world-renowned forensic scientist, has announced he will retire from the University of New Haven in August, the university said Tuesday.

Lee will continue to serve in an advisory capacity and will help with teaching, generating funding, and promoting the Lee Institute and the university around the globe, the university said.

“Dr. Lee has indicated to me that he feels the time is right for him to take a step back to enable the university’s next generation of forensic science professors to step to the forefront,” said President Steven H.
