DICK’S worker hurt in scuffle with thieves in Norwalk, police say

Norwalk police are looking for two men who they said injured an employee while stealing almost $3,000 worth of merchandise from DICK’S Sporting Goods.

Because the confrontation turned violent, the theft, which happened Monday at the store at 444 Connecticut Ave., is being considered a robbery, they said.

The men took $2,907 worth of merchandise, police said. The worker was injured while struggling to get the items back from one of the men, who was wearing white sneakers.
