Dick’s Sporting Goods is making a local move in Manchester, from the Buckland mall to a nearby retail plaza.
Construction is to start soon on the 55,000-square-foot space at The Plaza at Burr Corners, Adam Winstanley, principal of Burr Corners property owner Winstanley Enterprises, said Thursday.
Dick’s will be moving into the new store in mid-October “and they are planning on closing the mall location,” Winstanley said.
The renovation will be extensive, he said, combining the former Pilgrim Furniture space with the former Planet Fitness space. The “full gut rehab” will meet Dick’s national prototype standards and will include a new facade, Winstanley said.
