Police have identified the man found dead near I-95 in East Lyme Tuesday night and said his death has been ruled a homicide.
Finkelstein said it’s too early to say whether the deadly shooting happened in East Lyme or whether Dawson was taken there after being shot. Dawson was found a couple of hundred feet from the highway.
East Lyme investigators are now working with Bridgeport police, in addition to the state police and the New London State’s Attorney, on the investigation, he said.
A passerby called 911 about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday after seeing a body on the side of West Society Road.
