A 22-year-old man was fatally shot in the chest Thursday night during a scuffle in a Waterbury apartment, police said.
The shooting happened about 10:15 p.m. at 97 Cherry St., Apt. 1, when two men tried to get into an apartment with several people inside. When they couldn’t get in, one of them fired multiple times into the apartment, striking the 22-year-old, police said.
