UConn’s quarterback competition is over as Randy Edsall officially announced junior college transfer David Pindell as the starter.
“I just saw the way he came in and handled the offense and what he’s done,” Edsall said explained. “We sat down with the offensive staff and talked with them and after evaluating all those things that we’ve seen, it was time to make a decision and now we’re going to move forward.”
In Storrs by way of Lackawanna Community College, Pindell quickly impressed Edsall upon his arrival in Storrs.
“The presence he has for himself has been really impressive,” Edsall said at American Conference Media Day in July.
