For the second consecutive summer, former UConn Huskies small forward Daniel Hamilton spent the summer playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder’s entry in the NBA Summer League in Orlando.
This time around, the Los Angeles native put up much better numbers than he did in 2016 when he averaged 5.8 points and 3.6 rebound in five games. In four games last week in Orlando, Hamilton averaged 11.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists.
His best scoring game came against the Detroit Pistons in the first game of the Orlando Summer League when he scored 17 points.
