Daniel Hamilton signs two-way deal with Thunder

On Thursday, the Oklahoma City Thunder announced that they had signed Daniel Hamilton to a two-way contract.

The two-way contract is a new rule in place starting with the 2017-18 year. Rosters will now expand from 15 to 17 players and players on two-way deals can spend a maximum of 45 days on an NBA team.

The Denver Nuggets drafted Hamilton with the 56th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft and traded him to the Thunder on draft night for $730,000 and he spent 2016-17 with Oklahoma City’s NBA Development League team, the Oklahoma City Blue.
