After spending the first two years of his professional career with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Daniel Hamilton is heading to the Atlanta Hawks on a one-year, guaranteed contract according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowksi.
Hamilton made his NBA debut this past season with the Thunder, appearing in six games while averaging 2.0 points and 1.3 assists in 4.7 minutes per game. In the G League, he averaged 16.1 points, 9.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists in 45 games last season.
After two solid but mostly unspectacular seasons at UConn, Hamilton surprised many by announcing he was signing with an agent and entering the NBA Draft.
