Part of the Silas Deane Highway, or Route 99, in Wethersfield is closed because of a crash, police said Tuesday morning.
They asked that motorists avoid the section of the road near Wells Road, or Route 175. Utility poles came down in the crash, they said, and it is expected to take awhile to clear the road.
