Connecticut teen found with rifle, 20 pounds of marijuana products during arrest in Bridgeport

A teenager suspected of firing several gunshots on Halloween night in Stratford was located in Bridgeport on Wednesday with a rifle and 20 pounds of marijuana and THC products.

Tyrese Pridgen, 19, was arrested and charged with eight offenses, including criminal possession of a firearm and operating a drug factory, Stratford police Capt. Frank Eannotti said. He was held on $500,000 bond.

Investigators believe Pridgen fired several gunshots Halloween night near Sands Place in Stratford, though no one was hurt, Eannotti said.
