Computer outage affecting state agency email systems, troubleshooting underway

A computer outage has crippled state agencies’ ability to send or receive external emails on Tuesday and teams were still attempting to troubleshoot the problem late in the afternoon.

The network went down on Tuesday morning and was quickly identified as a problem with a “primary storage array” in the state’s computer systems, according to updates shared by state officials online.
