Caron Butler to join ESPN as college basketball analyst

On Monday, ESPN announced some of their new personalities for college basketball coverage in the upcoming season and a familiar face was among them in Caron Butler.

Butler, the 2002 co-Big East player of the year, was drafted 10th overall in the 2002 NBA Draft and retired after the 2015-16 season, playing in 881 career games. He was also an all-star in the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons.

Butler started 62 of his 63 games over his two seasons at UConn, averaging 18.0 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.

Butler has contributed to ESPN in the past, helping with NBA Draft coverage and he has also made appearances on The Jump.
