Investigators are working to determine the cause of a fire Saturday night inside an operating room at Bridgeport Hospital.
A medical device inside the operating room had malfunctioned and caught fire at about 11:45 p.m., said Scott Appleby, director of the city’s office of emergency management and homeland security.
