Hartford police are still searching for the person who sped away from officers Friday morning in a stolen Amazon delivery van in the North End.
Officers ultimately recovered the van and captured one of the thieves in the act, but the second thief who was driving the van and more than 60 packages still have not been found this week, police said.
The incident began just after 10:30 a.m. Friday when an Amazon delivery person stepped away from his running van momentarily on Martin Street only to have it stolen right in front him, Lt. Paul Cicero said.
