The NEIBA Division I All-New England teams were released on Tuesday and freshman Mason Feole was named both the Rookie of the Year and one of the three starting pitchers on the second team.
The Wakefield, Rhode Island native compiled a 7-4 record in 2017 to go along with a 3.38 ERA. He started 14 games and had 15 appearances overall, starting in three of the Huskies’ four shutouts this year.
Feole struck out 75 batters to 30 walks in 82 2/3 innings and allowed batters to hit .254 against him. This summer, he will pitch for the Wareham Gatemen in the Cape Cod League during Summer 2017.
