UConn baseball is heading out west for the NCAA Tournament. The Huskies are the No. 2 seed in the Oklahoma City Regional and will play 3-seed Nebraska in the first game on Friday at 1 p.m. The regional is hosted by No. 9 overall seed Oklahoma State, who will face Harvard in its first game.
UConn has not played any opponent in its regional this season. The Huskies have faced Nebraska just once in program history, another NCAA Tournament matchup. UConn crushed the Cornhuskers 15-0 en route to the College World Series, the last time the Huskies went to Omaha.
