What’s Bruin: UCLA Men’s Tennis Duo Takes NCAA Doubles Championship

What’s Bruin this Wednesday morning?

Following in the footsteps of Arthur Ashe on Monday, the UCLA Men’s Tennis duo of Martin Redlicki and Evan Zhu claimed the 13th NCAA doubles title in program history Monday at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex. To win the championship, they defeated Martin Joyce and Mikael Torpegaard of Ohio State, 6-7 (8), 7-6 (4), 1-0 (9). This is Redlicki’s second doubles championship, winning the title in 2016 as well. Each set came down to the last point, with UCLA able to win match point in the end.

Meanwhile, four Bruins earned Pac-12 All-Academic honors.
