Week 3 in the Pac-12: What to watch for

Here are five things to keep an eye on in the Pac-12 this week.

Conference play is upon us: And what a way to start things off. USC travels to Stanford, renewing one of the great rivalries in the league. For starters, it's a rematch of last year's Pac-12 championship game, where the Cardinal and Christian McCaffrey ran wild in a 41-22 win that propelled them to the Rose Bowl. It was the first official game for Clay Helton as USC's head coach but the last for many of his assistants, as he cleaned house following McCaffrey's 461-yard all-purpose performance where he surpassed Barry Sanders' single-season all-purpose record.
