LOS ANGELES – UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen walked gingerly off the field at Sun Devil Stadium holding his right arm close to his body with a towel draped over his right shoulder. The star sophomore was forced to leave late in the fourth quarter of the Bruins’ 23-20 loss last Saturday, but Coach Jim Mora is optimistic about Rosen’s status for Saturday night’s game at Washington State.
“He’s a tough kid and he’s competitive and he has a will to be back in there,” Mora said Monday. “He doesn’t want to let anyone down and he loves to compete, so I’d be surprised if he doesn’t do everything he can to be back on the field Saturday night.
