UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen, as expected, did not start for the Bruins at Washington State.
Instead, the Bruins turned to former walk-on Mike Fafaul, who took most of the first-team reps in practice this week. Rosen suffered a pair of injuries -- one to his lower body and one to his upper body, according to the team -- last week against Arizona State.
Earlier this week, coach Jim Mora said the staff would take into account both Rosen's short- and long-term health when deciding if he would play.
