There’s an old saying that a bad day of golf is better than a good day of work. Well, yesterday was both for the UCLA women’s golf team in the second round of the NCAA Regionals in East Lansing, Michigan.
After finishing seventh in the first round, the Bruins moved up to third place after yesterday’s second round. For the day, UCLA shot a 3-under 285 which improved the team’s overall score to a 5-over 581. That means, barring an epic collapse in today’s third round, the Bruins should be advancing to the NCAA Championships which start on Friday, May 17.
