What a way to end the regular season… by sweeping the Arizona schools on the road. Sure you know about what the men did, but the UCLA Women’s Basketball (22-7, 13-5) team had a drubbing and a shocker of their own.
On Friday, the Bruins went into Tucson and rolled over the Arizona Wildcats, 79-56, which was topped off by a 21-point performance Nicole Kornet.
Not only did the Bruins keep their hopes alive for a first round bye in the Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament, but it was also their 10th consecutive win over the Wildcats.
