Basketball is once again big in Westwood. The UCLA Women’s Basketball team are contributing to that with their strong showing this season which is getting national attention. In this week’s AP Poll, the Bruins remain at the #9 in the Top 25.
The Bruins are having an impressive year so far, having only lost to Baylor on the Bear’s home court. The Bruins were in a battle all game long but unfortunately the then-#2 Baylor team were able to pull out the 84-70 victory. Since then UCLA has rattled off six straight wins.
The Bruins’ latest victory, which was over Michigan this past weekend, also marked another milestone.
