“Let’s Dance! Put on your [blue] shoes and dance the blues.” That is right, the UCLA Women’s Basketball team is going dancing and will be hosting the first two rounds of the 2017 NCAA Women’s Tournament.
After a 23-8, 13-5 season, the Bruins found themselves in fourth place in the Pac-12. They also took a tough exit in the Pac-12 semifinals against Oregon State. Still, they had five wins over Top 25 teams and are the #15 team in the AP Poll with an overall impressive resume.
That was good enough for the #4 seed in the Bridgeport Region, with even better news, The Bruins will be hosting the first two rounds at Pauley Pavilion.
