UCLA Softball Pounds the Beavers Before Rains Pound the Field

Last night, the UCLA softball team’s game against Oregon State was suspended after 212 innings with the Bruins leading 10-1. As a result, play will be resumed this morning at 10 am and the third game of the series, which had been scheduled for Noon, will be played 30 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game.

With Briana Perez getting the night off, Bubba Nickles was in the leadoff spot for the Bruins and she got a first inning rally started for UCLA with a single up the middle.
