Bruin fans will have to wait longer for UCLA’s 114th national championship after the UCLA Softball team lost to Washington yesterday in the Women’s College World Series.
The day actually started off right as the Bruins’ Kylee Perez hit a first inning home run in UCLA’s first game of the day against Texas A&M. They added two more in the second on an RBI single by Delaney Spaulding that scored Rachel Garcia and Bubba Nickles. Nickles would prove to be the game-winning run as the Aggies would only be able to muster a home run in the fourth and another homer in the bottom of the seventh.
