LOS ANGELES – UCLA slogged through a tumultuous change on offense while adapting to first-year offensive coordinator Kennedy Polamalu’s scheme. It took months for players to learn, process and execute the extensive playbook. It took loads of brain power, but now the Bruins just want will power.
“On offense, our motto is PSW: power, speed and will,” quarterback Josh Rosen said Saturday after UCLA’s win over Arizona. “We got the first two and the third is that intangible that we are constantly striving and fighting for.”
The Bruins hope they’ve worked past the thinking phase to where they can just say “screw it and play,” Rosen said.
