UCLA ready for on-the-fly adjustments vs. Texas A&M

LOS ANGELES – UCLA had four uninterrupted weeks of preparation for its season opener against Texas A&M. The Bruins have done every drill, watched every piece of tape and seen everything they can see from the Aggies.

But there’s still lingering insecurity about Saturday’s season opener in College Station.

Such is the nature of the first game of the season. There’s no certainty in what your opponent will look like after a whole offseason of tinkering, even if your opponent has your former offensive coordinator. More so than in any other game of the year, coaching staffs and players need to be ready to make adjustments in the first game.
