Don’t bother explaining the stats to Josh Rosen. He is unconcerned about his place in the UCLA record books. Another 300-yard passing game is not good enough when it had to come like that.
After UCLA’s 17-14 win against BYU in Provo, Utah on Saturday, Rosen said his 26-of-40 passing, 307-yard, two-touchdown performance was “a step back” from his previous game against UNLV. He said he forced a “miserable” throw to Eldridge Massington when he could have hit Austin Roberts in the corner and he missed a throw to Ishmael Adams on a drive the Bruins eventually scored on.
