#1 Women’s Softball
The #1 UCLA women’s softball team stayed perfect last weekend with four wins in the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic. The Bruins started the tournament off with a 9-1 win in six innings over Texas A&M, which included redshirt junior Aaliyah Jordan’s first home run of the season. UCLA got on the board early with five runs in the first inning and held the Aggies scoreless until the third.
Saturday’s doubleheader included amazing play by sophomore pitcher Megan Faraimo, who struck out 26 over 132⁄3 innings.
