UCLA heads down South to the University of San Diego to face the Toreros as they wrap up non-conference play.

The Bruins had been on an upward path for the last few weeks. Starting with Oregon State, the Bruins were on a three-game winning streak until it hit a standstill Wednesday against New Mexico. The Bruins were forced to play catch-up after falling behind 1-0 in the first 15 minutes of the game.

It didn’t take long in the second half for UCLA to equalize. In the 52nd minute, Matthew Powell converted a free kick from Brian Iloski to draw the game level for his second goal of the season.
