UCLA announced the hiring of Jedd Fisch as the program’s third offensive coordinator in as many seasons on Thursday.
Fisch, who comes to Westwood after two years as Michigan’s passing game coordinator and quarterbacks and wide receivers coach, takes over a UCLA offense that is in desperate need of a shake-up. The Bruins were second-to-last in the nation in rushing yards per game (84.2) last year under Kennedy Polamalu and second-to-last in the Pac-12 in points per game (24.9).
“UCLA is known for attracting high-caliber and high-character student-athletes,” Fisch said in a statement. “The opportunity to mentor these types of young men is extremely exciting, as is the chance to work with Coach Mora.
