The UCLA football team officially has their newest tight end as Michael Martinez has finally sent in his national letter of intent after months of being committed. Martinez did not sign in the early period but rather opted to announce on National Signing Day.
Martinez was the second recruit to ever commit to UCLA is 2019 class when he gave his pledge back in June. Today, he is the third Bruin to send in his NLI after defensive lineman Noah Keeter and wide receiver Charles Njoku submitted theirs early in the morning.
From what we saw from the 2018 season, Chip Kelly will continue to heavily employ the use of tight ends in his evolving offense.
