UCLA Football Recruiting: National Signing Day Ceremony Was Postponed for One New Bruin

The National Letters of Intent started rolling in early Wednesday morning. Pat Jolly’s letter was in first at 4:16 am PT. It makes sense that Jolly’s letter would arrive that early. Jolly lives in Florida.

The second new Bruin to submit his NLI was Matt Alaimo (pronounced A-lay-mo) from St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, New Jersey. UCLA received his NLI at 5:06 am PT. That’s 8:06 am Eastern time for you Trojans out there.

Normally, Alaimo would be getting ready to start his first period class at the time.

But, not this Wednesday.

This Wednesday, SJR’s administration had decided to close school for the day to due expected snow.
