The NFL Draft might have ended on Saturday afternoon but that does not mean that the dream of making it to the NFL had died for a few players as five former Bruins signed contracts as free agents after the draft.
Late Saturday night, we got word that Ishmael Adams was able to make the leap to the League as he was the fifth Bruin to sign as an unrestricted free agent. Adams had a promising start to his college career but hit a bump last season in his move to receiver from cornerback.
Before him, DT Eli Ankou got the afternoon started for the undrafted free agents as he got the call from the Houston Texans.
