The UCLA Football defensive backfield just got a bit deeper as Jeffrey Manning, Jr. (Cathedral HS/Los Angeles, CA) gave his pledge to play for the Bruins last night.
UCLA DB Coach Demetrice Martin had offered Manning just this past weekend and was expected to commit as he declared that UCLA was his “dream school”. Well that commitment came sooner than later as Manning looks to be ready to put on that blue and gold now.
UCLA has an excellent athlete on their hands as Manning is a two-way player that has experience as a receiver, but will be bringing his talents to Westwood as a cornerback.
