LOS ANGELES – At the end of a two-a-day session in San Bernardino, UCLA defensive lineman Jacob Tuioti-Mariner felt pain on the lower right side of his abdomen while stretching. Well into training camp during a hot Inland Empire summer, Tuioti-Mariner thought it was a cramp, so he turned over and tried to stretch it out.
