UCLA brings in a big haul of players ahead of headliner Dorian Thompson-Robinson

The Bruins expect their marquee recruit, quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson from Las Vegas Bishop Gorman High, to sign in the afternoon.

UCLA had signed 15 players before lunchtime, an impressive haul even after offensive lineman Jarrett Patterson from Mission Viejo High picked Notre Dame over the Bruins (despite what was written in a high school program, which listed Patterson as having picked UCLA).

UCLA hopes to sign several more players before the end of the day; there are at least five committed to the Bruins who remained unsigned by early afternoon.

The day got off to an early and productive start.
