UCLA is a basketball school, but you already knew that. Though both Women’s and Men’s UCLA Basketball teams have had down years recently, they are back and they are dancing!
After five days of madness between the Women’s and Men’s NCAA Tournaments, 32 teams have made it to their respective sweet 16s.
Four schools in each tournament have both of their basketball programs moving on from the first weekend.
UCLA, Oregon, Baylor and South Carolina all have both of their women’s and men’s squads heading to the regional semifinals. Bravo.
For the #3 UCLA men’s team, they started the madness taking on #14 Kent State and although the Golden Flash gave the Bruins some trouble, UCLA was ultimately no match in a 97-80 victory.
