UCLA Basketball: Two incoming freshman win the John R. Wooden Award

The women’s and men’s UCLA basketball teams are bringing in some award winners next season as point guard Charisma Osborne (Windward/Los Angeles, CA) and Jaime Jaquez (Camarillo/Camarillo, CA) were both honored with John R. Wooden Award.

The John R. Wooden High School Player of the Year Award is presented annually by the Los Angeles Athletic Club and is given to several student-athletes across multiple divisions of the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section and Los Angeles City Section.
