The accolades keep on coming for the UCLA Basketball Women’s team who had another player named to, not just one, but two preseason award watch lists.
Junior Kennedy Burke was recently recognized by the Ann Meyers-Drysdale Award (top shooting guard in the nation) and the Cheryl Miller Award (top small forward in the nation) for her efforts and expect that to continue in 2017-18.
Last season, Burke was third on the team in scoring with 12.2 pooints per game behind this year’s senior leaders Jordin Canada and Monique Billings. Burke will step up as the Bruins’ primary outside shooter.
