It has been a rough few weeks for the UCLA Basketball team after their Sweet 16 loss to Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament.
First Lonzo Ball declares for the NBA Draft (immediately after the game ended), then TJ Leaf declares, and then three other Bruins declare… and now assistant coach Ed Schilling is leaving.
The thing about Schilling’s departure is that before the season ended, many thought a Bruin coach was going to Indiana anyway, though it was not Schilling.
Rumors emerged that Indiana, who parted ways with former Head Coach Tom Crean after the season, had already sought out their next coach to lead them into the future.
