The USDOJ complaint against Southern Cal assistant Tony Bland and Arizona assistant Book Richardson alleges that Bland and Richardson agreed to steer their student-athletes to the management company when players left school for the NBA.
There is no indication from the indictment that Tony Bland’s involvement dealt with recruiting. Bland’s involvement appears to be limited to just steering student-athletes to the management company.
However, after reading the complaint, it would appear that Richardson allegedly arranged for $15,000 to be paid to a player who verbally committed to Arizona around August 8, 2017. That would appear to be Jahvon Quinerly.
