Diddy’s reported reaction to a football coach’s treatment of his son landed the hip hop mogul in hot water Monday.
UCLA quickly confirmed that the rapper, whose real name is Sean Combs, was arrested on an assault with a deadly weapon charge at the school’s athletic training facility. UCLA police are investigating the incident, which involved a kettlebell, according to the school, although no one was seriously injured.
“I’m thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation,” Bruins coach Jim Mora said in a statement released by the school.
