Salcedo has stepped down as the Bruins men’s soccer coach.

Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times is reporting that indicted UCLA men’s soccer coach Jorge Salcedo has resigned. Salcedo was indicted last week by the US Attorney’s Office on charges of conspiracy to commit racketeering. It is alleged that Salcedo accepted two separate $100,000 bribes in return for assisting in getting two students admitted to UCLA under the guise of being student-athletes.

One of the students Salcedo is accused of helping is Lauren Isackson. Isackson was listed on the roster for the 2017 UCLA women’s soccer team, but, according to uclabruins.
