Rosen takes blame for Bruins’ disappointing season opener

An opener in a tough SEC environment took UCLA’s season from zero to 60 in five plays flat. That’s how long it took the Bruins to force the first turnover of 2016.

Then they sputtered the rest of the way up and down Kyle Field to a 31-24 overtime loss to Texas A&M.

The good was a 15-point comeback in the fourth quarter to force overtime. The bad was that UCLA was in that hole to begin with. After a bumpy ride against the Aggies, the Bruins hope they can start settling into cruise control for Saturday’s home opener against UNLV at 5 p.
