Wahoos247’s Jamie Oakes is reporting that new UCLA Football coach Chip Kelly is going to hire Frank Wintrich as UCLA’s next strength and conditioning coach.

Wintrich has 15 years of experience at the collegiate level. He spent the past two seasons working on Bronco Mendenhall’s Virginia Cavaliers staff. Before joining Mendenhall’s staff at BYU in 2015, Wintrich had spent four years as the director of football performance at North Texas and three years as the associate director of strength and conditioning at South Florida.

He also spent two years as the director of athletic development at the Citadel where he directed the strength program that provided all aspects of athletic development for 15 varsity sports.
