PROVO, Utah – Running back Nate Starks and fullback Cameron Griffin each made their season debuts Saturday against BYU. Starks, who missed the first two games due to a coach’s decision, got the start at running back and helped set up UCLA’s first scoring drive. He caught a 15-yard pass from quarterback Josh Rosen and ran for a 5-yard gain before Griffin finished off the drive with a 6-yard touchdown reception.
Griffin made his return to the field after a concussion kept him out for nearly a month and a half. He was injured in the first week of training camp.
